Creating website submissions for Squarespace
There are three essential components to setting up a submission process on a Squarespace website: a graphic (designer), some code (developer), and a form (Jotform). We are using a service called Cloudinary to receive and store submissions and to generate URL’s for our forms. The developer’s code allows us to take a video file uploaded to Cloudinary, generate the URL, and put them into a hidden field in the JotForm. Even if you aren’t able to code, you still should be able to duplicate the process from other forms.
When in JotForm, fields can be shown or hidden. When creating a new form, duplicate in Jotform to copy over hidden fields.
In Squarespace, add a code block and add form as embed code.
From here, you’ll need to go back to Jotform. Go to the relevant form and click edit form.
Click embed. Code should look like the image below.
Copy this code from Jotform into the code block from Squarespace.
That’s it. You should be good to go.
